In 8 seminar units, 16 works by JS Bach and his contemporaries will be worked on together.

The aim is to ensure a sensible start to practising. General practice ideas will be experienced and considered in all seminar units.

Necessary markings for structure, articulation, dynamics as well as fingering questions and arrangements, the execution of ornaments and questions about the expansion of the keyboard are discovered together. In each seminar unit, 2 works are worked on.

After each seminar unit, the participants receive the two works as PDF files, edited in the Edition La Folia. -> Sheet music

The aim is for participants to be able to work on new works quickly and independently with the necessary markings (structure…) after attending this seminar.

Prerequisites for participation: none, just enjoy the music of JS Bach!
